Cielito Lindo Dos Mexican Spanish Restaurant

Great food at Cielito Lindo Dos Mexican Spanish Restaurant

Sure there is taco Tuesday, but what about Mexican Thursday? Ok maybe there isn’t such a day in our cultural calendar yet. But there could be…

South of the border, of Dania Beach FL, you’ll find Ceilito Lindo Dos Mexican Spanish Restaurant.

IMG_20160129_201223A step above the taco stand, but not high end as a 5 star, you’ll find this restaurant. It’s half neighborhood bar and half restaurant. Serving simple Mex-Span food and reasonable pricing Cielito delivers what it is best at – easy simple comfort food.

I’ve never been disappointed when I’m here. The food seems to be a bit less oily and cleaner (meaning leaner i.e. as in clean eating) then the average Mexican restaurant. Perhaps it’s the Spanish influence.

My recommendations are the fajitas as well as their margaritas. On this night while out with the wife and our neighbor I tried the pescado ala ceracruzana. It was delicious, mahi-mahi in for lack of a better term a red sauce. This is served with traditional rice and black beans.

It’s definitely worth a try, in fact a few tries. You’ll feel at home here. Siempre serás bienvenido aquí
